Since its opening in 2000, Hugos Lounge has maintained its reputation as one of Sydney’s premier nightspots. A combination of chic and sophisticated design, luscious food and impeccable drinks has allowed Hugos to step effortlessly into its role as a world-class venue.
Hugos Lounge opened in 2000, just before the Olympic Games. Part of Hugos Group, it is located on the level 1 of the Crescent Hotel building on Bayswater Rd. Located in the heart of Kings Cross, Sydney’s most vibrant and thriving nightlife area but also its “redlight district”, Hugos Lounge has brought class and sophistication back to the neighborhood.
The place is superb and perfectly appropriate to the whole concept. Hugos Lounge has a uniquely designed terrace that makes up the centerpiece. The venue comprises 4 bars spread over 4 distinct areas:
Skyy Bar This bar & lounge area has a large outdoor terrace and a gorgeous slated wall lined with leather lounges. That space is divided between Skyy bar 1 & 2, each of which has its own bar. Widely open on Bayswater Rd, the Skyy Bar is a smoking area.
Lounge This is where the main bar and the dancefloor are.
Cocktail Bar Cosy and warm, the Cocktail Bar is an exclusive intimate room with its own private bar and lounge area.
VIP Lounge This cosy room adjoins Skyy Bar and has its own section of the terrace with plenty of lounge seating to relax in.
The overall place boasts an elegant décor: large and comfortable leather sofas and seats, subdued lighting
